What F22 Means
The control sees an exhaust temperature sensor (thermistor) reading out of range — open or shorted circuit. Drying will be inaccurate or aborted.

Common Causes
Resistance out of spec (should be ~10kΩ at 77°F)
Harness plug at the blower housing
Chafed or pinched wire in the harness
ACU input circuit damaged
How to Fix It
- Unplug the dryer.
- Locate the thermistor on the blower housing (rear).
- Disconnect and measure resistance — should be near 10kΩ at room temperature.
- If out of spec or open/shorted, replace the thermistor.
- Inspect harness for damage; reseat connector and restore power.
