What AF Means

AF indicates restricted airflow. The control sees the exhaust temperature climbing too fast for the airflow it's expecting.

How to Fix It

  1. Clean and wash the lint screen.
  2. Disconnect and clean the full vent run with a dryer vent brush.
  3. Replace any plastic/foil flex ducting with semi-rigid aluminum.
  4. Verify the exterior vent flap opens freely.
  5. Run an empty Timed Dry and check airflow at the outside vent.
