What 1-6 Means

Safety reversing sensor detects an obstruction during the entire close cycle, or there is a wiring fault that mimics constant obstruction.

Symptoms

  • 1 flash then 6 flashes
  • Door starts to close then reverses
  • Sensor LEDs appear normal but door still will not close

Common Causes

How to Fix It

  1. Clear the area in front of and behind the sensors.
  2. Re-align both sensors so green LED is rock-steady, not flickering.
  3. Tighten the bracket wingnuts firmly.
