What PF Means

The oven lost power and is alerting the user that the clock and any active cycle were interrupted. Not a fault — just a notification.

Symptoms

  • PF flashing on display
  • Clock blinking 12:00
  • Cycle did not complete after a power blip

Common Causes

Recent power outage or brownout

Utility power was interrupted briefly.

Tripped breaker

A breaker tripped and was reset.

Loose service connection

Repeated PF codes can indicate a loose wire at the terminal block.

How to Fix It

  1. Press Cancel / Off to clear the code.
  2. Reset the clock.
  3. If PF returns repeatedly with no outage, check the breaker and the oven's terminal block connections.
  4. Tighten any loose connections (with power off at the breaker).
