Common Causes
Cavity probe harness pinched or melted against chassis.
Cavity-mounted probe jack has shorted internally.

How to Fix It
- Disconnect power.
- Remove the rear access panel and disconnect the probe receptacle harness at the EOC.
- Measure resistance across the probe jack leads.
- If shorted, replace the probe receptacle / harness.
- If the harness reads open with the jack disconnected but the code returns, replace the EOC.
