What 1h Means

1h (one hour) indicates a delay-start countdown is active. The dishwasher will start automatically when the countdown ends. Not a fault.

Symptoms

  • 1h, 2h, 4h, or 8h on display
  • Cycle won't start immediately
  • Dishwasher appears idle but powered on

Common Causes

Delay Start button pressed

User or accidental press of the Delay Start pad scheduled a delayed run.

Saved delay from previous cycle

Some models remember delay preference between runs.

How to Fix It

  1. Press Start/Reset (or hold Start for 3 seconds) to cancel the delay.
  2. If a cycle is in progress, allow it to drain, then press Start/Reset again.
  3. Re-select your desired cycle and press Start without pressing Delay.
  4. Close the door firmly within 4 seconds of pressing Start so the cycle latches in.
