Frigidaire Oven F15 — Controller Self-Check Failure
Frigidaire Oven · Error code F15
What F15 Means
The EOC ran its internal self-test at power-up and one of the checks failed. The control has taken itself offline to prevent unsafe operation.
Symptoms
- F15 on display at power-up
- Oven will not respond to any button press
- May cycle to F15 repeatedly after reset
Common Causes
Internal logic check failed — the board is the part.
Brown-out conditions can trip the self-check.
A stuck button can make the self-check fail; less common.
How to Fix It
- Breaker off 5 minutes, then restore.
- Verify 240V at the outlet, both legs healthy.
- Disconnect the touch keypad / membrane ribbon at the EOC and power up — if F15 clears, replace the keypad.
- If F15 persists with the keypad disconnected, replace the EOC.
