Bosch Washer E32 — Unbalanced Load / Vibration Fault

Bosch Washer · Error code E32

What E32 Means

The drum cannot reach spin speed safely because the load is unbalanced. The control aborts the spin to prevent cabinet damage.

Symptoms

  • Excessive shaking during spin
  • Clothes come out very wet
  • Washer 'walks' across floor
  • Cycle ends without full spin

Common Causes

1
Single heavy item in drum

Comforter, jeans, or rug bunched on one side.

2
Small load not redistributable

Only 1-2 items can't be balanced automatically.

3
Washer not level

Uneven feet allow excessive movement.

4
Failed shock absorbers

Worn dampers can't control tub motion.

5
Broken suspension spring

Tub sags, hits cabinet at higher RPM.

How to Fix It

  1. Open the door and redistribute the load evenly around the drum.
  2. For very small or single-item loads, add a few more items to balance.
  3. Place a level on top of the washer; adjust the leveling feet so it sits flat.
  4. Check all four feet for firm contact with the floor.
  5. If shaking persists with a balanced load, inspect tub shocks and springs.
  6. Replace shock absorbers in pairs if worn or oil-leaking.
