What E13 Means

The ice maker reports it did not complete a fill or harvest cycle within the expected window. Ice production stops but normal refrigeration continues.

How to Fix It

  1. Confirm the ice maker is enabled in the menu / via its switch.
  2. Replace the water filter if old or restricted; bypass to test if available.
  3. Unplug the unit and thaw the fill tube at the back-top of the freezer with warm water.
  4. Verify household water supply is on and the line is not kinked.
  5. Cycle the ice maker test mode (small button on the module) to confirm fill and harvest.
  6. Replace the inlet valve or ice maker module if the test cycle fails.
