How to Fix It

  1. Cancel cycle and unplug washer.
  2. Drain the tub manually using the drain hose into a low bucket.
  3. Pull the drain hose from the standpipe and check for clogs or kinks.
  4. Access the drain pump and remove debris from the impeller.
  5. Pour water down the standpipe to confirm the house drain accepts it.
  6. Test pump for continuity and 120V at the connector; replace if dead.
