What Error 3 Means

One or both drive wheels are suspended in the air or have lost ground contact. The robot stops to avoid falling.

How to Fix It

  1. Pick up the robot and place it on a flat, open area of hard floor.
  2. Press each drive wheel up into the chassis and release; it should spring back fully.
  3. Cut and remove any hair or fibers wrapped around the wheel axles.
  4. Wipe the wheels with a damp cloth, then dry.
  5. Restart the cleaning cycle.
  6. If the wheel doesn't spring back freely, the wheel module needs replacement.
