Common Causes
RTD probe has gone open — out of spec resistance.
Wire harness pulled loose at the rear or connector corroded.
Sensor input on the EOC has failed.
How to Fix It
- Disconnect power at the breaker.
- Pull the oven out and disconnect the sensor harness at the back.
- Measure resistance across the sensor — should read about 1080 ohms at room temperature (72F).
- If resistance is open (OL) or wildly off, replace the oven temperature sensor.
- Inspect the harness for damaged insulation or corroded pins.
- If the sensor reads correct, replace the control board.
