What tF Means

TurboFreeze is engaged — freezer runs at maximum cooling for ~24 hours to flash-freeze a large new load. Cancels automatically when complete.

Symptoms

  • tF on display
  • Freezer running flat-out
  • Unusual run-time on compressor

Common Causes

TurboFreeze button pressed

Intentional or accidental press of the freezer dispenser pad.

Stuck dispenser membrane switch

If tF re-engages immediately after cancel, the pad has shorted.

How to Fix It

  1. Press TurboFreeze button to cancel.
  2. Verify display returns to normal freezer temperature.
  3. If tF keeps coming back, replace the dispenser control panel.
