Common Causes

Sabbath Mode intentionally enabled

User activated via the control panel.

Accidental activation

Holding Lock + another key for several seconds can enter Sabbath Mode.

How to Fix It

  1. To exit, press and hold the Lock pad for 3-5 seconds (or the combination listed in your owner's manual for your model).
  2. Confirm interior light returns when door is opened.
  3. If display still shows SA, unplug for 30 seconds and plug back in.
